Founding Vision

The vision begins

The founding vision of La Familia Simón takes shape — a commitment to serve families through compassion, community, and service.

2016–2024
Early Groundwork

Building the foundation

Years of groundwork, relationships, and program development laying the base for a formal nonprofit family of organizations.

2025
Formalization

Documentation & formal recognition

The organization receives its formal documentation and 501(c)(3) standing, turning a long-held vision into a recognized public charity.

Programs Launch

Legal initiative & Chaplain Corps

Latinos Without Borders Legal Aid Initiative and CAP-537 Volunteer Chaplain Services are established.

2026
Institutional Growth

DOJ submission & Singapore announced

Materials related to DOJ/EOIR Recognition & Accreditation are submitted, and the Singapore Asia-Pacific initiative is announced.

2027
Planned

National expansion

Expansion of programs and partnerships across additional states and communities.

2028–2030
Planned

Salvando Vidas & global offices

Development of Proyecto Salvando Vidas health initiatives and additional global offices, subject to approvals.
