Green Card Opportunity is an educational and preparation program. It is not a government agency, not a visa lottery, and not a guarantee of residency, a sponsor, employment, or immigration approval. Eligibility depends on each individual case, and every final decision is made by U.S. government agencies. Any employment-based sponsorship requires a genuine employer complying with all labor and immigration laws — a worker should never be charged for costs that legally belong to the employer. Beware of anyone promising guaranteed green cards, fictitious jobs, payment for sponsorship, or false documents. This is not legal advice; each case requires individual review by a licensed attorney or authorized representative.
We believe that many families struggle not because they lack options, but because they lack access to reliable information, language support, and trusted guidance. Our mission is to help bridge that gap through culturally responsive, community-centered services.
Through our Latinos Without Borders Legal Aid Initiative, we help families understand available resources, organize important documents, prepare for appointments, and connect with qualified legal professionals when appropriate.
La Familia Simón Foundation is a nonprofit community organization. Unless specifically authorized under applicable law, our staff and volunteers do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation.
Cases requiring legal representation, legal strategy, court appearances, or attorney-client advice are referred through our attorney network to licensed attorneys or, where authorized by law, accredited representatives, according to jurisdiction, case type, and program availability.
Coming soon: La Familia Simón Foundation has submitted materials related to DOJ/EOIR Recognition and Accreditation. Services requiring DOJ/EOIR authorization will begin only after formal approval.
