◐ In Development An Oral Health Initiative of La Familia Simón Foundation · Proyecto Salvando Vidas

537 SMILES™

Restoring Health. Restoring Confidence. One Smile at a Time.

An initiative being developed to expand access to preventive oral health education, community screenings by licensed providers, referrals, hygiene support, and sponsor-supported care for underserved children and families.

537 SMILES™ is an oral health initiative in development under La Familia Simón Foundation, connected to our health umbrella Proyecto Salvando Vidas. It is being designed to reduce barriers to oral healthcare and to connect families with licensed dental professionals, community partners, and supportive resources — not to operate as a dental practice.

Purpose

Our Mission & Vision

Mission

To improve oral health, confidence, and quality of life by helping underserved children and families gain access to preventive education, screenings, referrals, and community-supported dental care pathways.

Vision

We envision communities where every child and family has the opportunity to maintain a healthy smile — regardless of income, insurance status, or financial hardship. 537 SMILES™ seeks to become a trusted bridge between families in need and qualified dental professionals.

Why It Matters

A healthy smile affects far more than appearance

Oral health influences nutrition, confidence, school participation, employment opportunities, communication, and overall well-being. When a family cannot afford dental care, the consequences reach into every part of daily life — and children carry them the longest.

Planned Program Areas

What 537 SMILES™ is being built to offer

All clinical services, when available through the program, will be delivered only by appropriately licensed dental professionals and participating provider partners.

Oral Health Education

Planned: age-appropriate education for children and families on prevention and daily care.

Preventive Screenings

Planned: community screenings delivered through licensed providers and partner practices.

Community Dental Days

Planned: organized events combining education, screenings, and referrals.

Provider Referrals

Planned: referrals to licensed dentists and specialists based on each family's need.

Oral Hygiene Kits

Planned: preventive supplies and hygiene kits for children and families.

Sponsored Care

Access Navigation

Planned: helping uninsured and underinsured families connect with affordable care.

Preventive-Care Support

Communities with limited access to care
Our Model

How the initiative will work

537 SMILES™ is being designed primarily as a community-access and partnership initiative. Rather than attempting to independently provide every dental service, the Foundation intends to collaborate with licensed dental professionals, practices, dental schools, nonprofit partners, schools, sponsors, and community organizations — focusing our own resources on outreach, education, navigation, sponsorship, and access.

Future Component

537 SMILES Community Dental Days

A planned component of the initiative may bring together licensed dentists, hygienists, volunteers, sponsors, schools, and community organizations for a single day of oral health education, screenings, preventive support, referrals, and dental-care resources.

All clinical services would be performed only by appropriately licensed and authorized professionals.

Partnerships

Building a network of care

Our goal is to build a collaborative network capable of helping families access care that may otherwise be beyond their financial reach. 537 SMILES™ welcomes collaboration with:

Dental practices Dentists & hygienists Dental schools Community health centers Hospitals & health organizations Schools & youth organizations Corporate sponsors Dental-product manufacturers Foundations & grantmakers Local government partners Community volunteers

◐ In Development

537 Smile Relief Fund

Charitable financial assistance for qualifying individuals and families who cannot afford essential oral healthcare.

◐ In Development

537 Smile Access™

An affordable community oral-health membership and access model currently in development for the United States. Not insurance; membership does not guarantee treatment coverage. Structure, pricing, benefits, and eligibility will be established only after provider-cost analysis, legal review, and program design are complete.

Partner Recruitment

537 Dental Partner Network

Licensed dentists, hygienists, clinics, schools, and other professional partners helping expand access to oral healthcare.

Strategic Geography

One Mission. Two Pathways.

537 SMILES™ is being designed around a simple belief: where a person lives should not determine whether they must live with preventable dental pain.

In the United States, our goal is to build a sustainable oral-health access model combining community participation, dental-provider partnerships, charitable assistance, grants, and sponsorships. In Haiti, our initial focus will be humanitarian: partnering with qualified local professionals and organizations to bring preventive education, dental-care access, essential treatment assistance, and oral-health resources to underserved communities.

The models may differ by country. The mission remains the same.

  • Membership development — 537 Smile Access™
  • 537 Smile Relief Fund
  • 537 Dental Partner Network
  • Community Dental Days
  • Grant-funded oral-health programs

The U.S. pilot will allow the Foundation to establish program policies, provider partnerships, financial controls, outcome measurement, donor reporting, and a sustainable model before broader expansion.

🇭🇹

Haiti

Humanitarian Outreach
  • Charitable assistance & sponsored care
  • Partnerships with licensed local providers
  • Preventive education & hygiene kits
  • Community Dental Days
  • International grants & sponsorships

Designed as a charitable and partnership-based initiative — not a membership or insurance program.

🇭🇹 537 SMILES™ Haiti Outreach

Expanding access to oral health where the need is greatest

537 SMILES™ Haiti Outreach is being developed as a humanitarian oral-health initiative focused on helping underserved children, families, and vulnerable communities gain access to preventive education, screenings, essential dental care pathways, and licensed local dental providers.

All clinical care will be provided by appropriately licensed dental professionals in accordance with applicable local requirements. La Familia Simón Foundation does not operate as a dental clinic.

International Funding

International activities will be developed only through grants, donations, partnerships, and charitable funds whose terms permit international program use. Funding allocated to Haiti will be managed with appropriate financial controls, documentation, provider agreements, and program-specific reporting.

🇭🇹 Haiti Outreach

Help Bring a Smile to Haiti

Support for Haiti will be directed through restricted charitable funds, sponsorships, and partnerships with licensed local providers.

Transparency

Program development status

No participant numbers, treatment counts, funds raised, provider totals, or impact statistics are published until they are verified real data. Outcomes will eventually be reported separately for the United States and Haiti.
